Steps to reproduce:
Clicked a mailto: link with a middle mouse button.
I. e. middle clicking on <A href="mailto:dawwadw@awdawd.xx" title="adwdw">mail</a> would reproduce the bug.
Actual results:
Infinite number of tabs were opened
Expected results:
One tab opened.

I can't reproduce the reported bug with Firefox64 on Ubuntu.
Opening an infinite number of tabs can happen if you assign Firefox as mailto helper.
