My new tab page has an entry for "Moved Permanently", corresponding to "nytimes.com" (which is HTTP 301'ed to www.nytimes.com). Entries like this should not show up in the new tab page. The "points" from visiting nytimes.com should be routed to the entry for www.nytimes.com.

For pages that already have a thumbnail, can replacing the thumbnail (and the title) with an error page be skipped?
This also regularly happens for things that redirect from http to https, it seems.
