Looks like there are a bunch of NPEs in the logcat.

Yeah, those are just logged NPEs. The real issue is that there are orphaned records, because (what I presume to be) the mobile bookmarks folder got replaced, but the records didn't chase it. Did you try this with an m-c build after 2ce9638b93e2, at 13:10PST today?

No, but I can. I have to head out soon, but I can try later tonight. FTR, I also tried this with a new desktop profile and sync account, and the same problem occurred.

I have to head out soon, but I can try later tonight. It appears to be working with the latest m-c (with my normal profile, as well as the new profile). I will re-open if I have problems again!
