Steps:
customize the menu bar to hold the reply icon
choose to hide the menubar in view options
press alt to unhide the bar
attempt to use the reply icon

result:
the command just doesn't work.

this happens for most of the available icons

problems exists from tb 11 beta through current trunk

This is a toolkit issue. Moving to the correct component.

To clarify "doesn't work": clicking on the newly-added button hides the menubar and doesn't activate the command. The command enables/disables itself as expected, though.
