I see this happening when overscrolling with fixed positioned divs, bug 727937. I guess this is the same issue.

I can see this happening as soon as something is painted on the canvas. I haven't find a workaround to fix this problem.

I do see something like what I reported in bug 728631

I see the black background while using the Samsung Galaxy SII. I pan down, and it remains the same. On Galaxy Nexus, the background is black only while panning, afterwards returns to the blue color with clouds.

The landing of Bug 728631 on maple likely fixed this, since I could reproduce it before but can't anymore.
