On the latest Nightly build (13.0a1) with the updated UX design, the thumbnails when viewed in full screen (res 1920x1200) are less sharp than before. 

It looks like we are scaling the thumbnail to fit the 'boxes', but using the same image.  

STR:

1) Update to the latest Nightly build on a larger monitor 24"+ with a res of 1920x1200 (this is not the most common use case, but the segment of HW is growing)
2) Open a new tab page
3) Assuming this is an existing profile, you should see the thumbnails and they're fairly blurry

fwiw, this is already visible on my 20" screen (1680x1050), briefly discussed the issue with Tim in #fx-team earlier.

Those images use the old, smaller size and will be updated as you visit the pages.

Ah, okay that makes sense.  The thumbnails today are definitely better than yesterday.

though that's not my bug, my NEW thumbnails are blurred.  Tim, where is the bug about using properly sized thumbnails with min-width? should we use bug 736018 for that?

Mine are much better after my thumbnails cycled through with the new UI change.
