Nightly Fennec 14.0a1 (2012-03-29) Device: Samsung Nexus S OS: Android 2.3.6 Steps to reproduce: 1. Start fennec 2. Open multiple tabs 3. Switch tabs Expected: The expected page is displayed without the previous page to appear. Actual The previous page still appears for a fraction of a second. After that, the expected page is loaded. NOTE:Please see the attached log file
What pages did you use to test with? This is only happening on the Samsung Nexus S? How fast is a testcase like this going? http://people.mozilla.org/~mwargers/tests/performance/textscrolling.htm
I've tested on nytimes.com, espn.com and cnn.com sites, using Motorola Droid 2 (Android 2.3.3) on Nightly Fennec 14.0a1 (2012-04-17). The video link for this is listed below: http://youtu.be/nwUg1Q29qrg The result for the test you've mentioned is: 9429ms.
This should be fixed with bug 718465.
