Details

I just got an email from a user who lost his tabs by playing around with Panorama. Seems like an obvious way to exit the view would be quite useful. This is the mail I got: For the very first time I thought I'd look at 'Tab Groups' accessed via the small icon at the RH end of a top taskbar, found that I didn't need it immediately and looked for the way back to my browser. Couldn't see it, or a back arrow, so clicked on the 'close button in the upper-right corner' thinking it was just closing the Tab Groups page. Of course I lost all the tabs! No warning message - 'You are about to close X tabs etc' - which would have stopped me in my tracks. It's no use telling people afterwards that this is what will happen, or how to restore (see below) - it's too late. This is a really badly designed page and facility, with all sorts of dangers. Having tried it again I still can't see how to return to the original browser. Now I've got to try and restore a complete browser, with multiple open tabs, from memory - just because I was foolish enough to be intrigued by a new Firefox feature.

Just my 2 cents: You should familiarize yourself with History function, it also have "recently closed tabs" and "recently closed windows" features, which can be persisted across browser restart if you persist/restore last session. No need to restore anything from memory.
