User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:13.0) Gecko/20120415 Firefox/13.0a2 Build ID: 20120415042011 Steps to reproduce: Switching to an application on monitor 2 while the video is playing in monitor 1 automatically closes the video from full screen. It can be reproduced in both Nightly and Aurora. Aurora: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:13.0) Gecko/20120415 Firefox/13.0a2 Nightly: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:14.0) Gecko/20120417 Firefox/14.0a1 Steps to reproduce, 1. Open a HTML5 video. I used a youtbe video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVpbFMhOAwE&html5=1 ). Can also reproduce with ogg video on http://assange.rt.com/ 2. play the video and click on full screen button 3. Now click on a window on second monitor to switch focus. Actual results: The full screen mode is closed automatically. Expected results: The video should stay in full screen mode on monitor 1

Maybe related to, or even a duplicate of, bug 724554?

Nitrox, are you able to reproduce the alleged bug if you set full-screen-api.exit-on-deactivate false in about:config?
I am not able to reproduce this bug if I set full-screen-api.exit-on-deactivate to false. By default the preference should be set to false. Adobe implemented in Flash while ago after people wanted it. I guess more people will be asking to implement this once more sites start to use HTML5 video by default. It is a duplicate of bug 724554.
