build id: 1999060208 platform: windows nt if you load this site, the "left" frame does not display. it either displays garbage or cruft from other windows. it displays OK in 4.6. Here's the basic frame info: <frameset Cols="180,*" frameborder="no" border=0 name="oben"> <frame SRC="left3_.htm" NAME="left" scrolling="no" NORESIZE marginwidth=0> <frame SRC="Right.htm" NAME="right" norsize marginwidth=0> if you remove the scrolling="no" then the frame does load correctly.

I used one of my web pages as a test. http://www.narain.com/consulting1/index.html loads a frameset. The top frame has it's scrolling set to "no". Works fine.
Seems like a mystery fix to me; the test case at http://schist/lupo.html is now working (the cruft between frames is a known issue covered elsewhere in Bugzilla, I believe; minimizing and restoring the window refreshes the window correctly).

Uh, OK. However, this bug did occur as written and with the build specified. Marking verified duplicate just to get it off the radar.
