when a user is typing into the addressbar we should autocomplete against installed apps. the installed apps priority in the list is tbd but we'll want to style them differently and ideally place them next to the site they are replacing if they are replacing a site. this depends on getting apps into places bug 748955

From previous discussions with UX (Boriss & Limi), just because a user frequently visits a page doesn't mean the user wants to use a separate application of the same page. One example is that Firefox provides a tabbed browsing interface with back/forward navigation, so an app might not be ideals for trying to open multiple pages/articles(?) at the same time. Although arguably, a site advertising that it can be made into an app might have a special interface that works better in an app context.

See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=748962#c3. We need to evaluate if this is on the critical path for the user. If it isn't, and ends up being a nice to have, then I question if this k9o applicable or not.
