Steps to reproduce: 1. Login to Marketplace https://marketplace-dev.allizom.org/en-US/ 2. Load the details page for a free app that has an unreviewed premium version available (ex. https://marketplace-dev.allizom.org/en-US/app/bimmer/?src=mkt-detail-upsell ) 3. Click the "Install" button Expected results: App installation is started. Actual results: Button changes it's label to "Installing..." and then back to "Install" but the app installation pop-up does not appear. Notes/Issues: Verified in FF15 Nightly (Win 7). Note: This is true only for the app developers. No one else has access to the install.

This was caused by manifests errors that were not getting shown in every instance. done: https://github.com/mozilla/zamboni/commit/bdf3510
