Remove "This message was sent using Messenger 5.0" tag at end of msg in compose window I'm logging this more as a placeholder so we remember to remove this later on. I don't think we want to ship with this. Note: this tag appears for new messages only; not for replies.

I'd wait till closer to the first public beta. I'd like to get a sense for how many folks are using Seamonkey Messenger 5.0 internally. I haven's seen many "This message was sent using Messenger 5.0" tags so far, and I'm expecting (hoping) to see an increase. So, I would keep this in a while longer.

While this does not need to be fixed now, it will need to be fixed prior to PR1, so I added a note in the Status Whiteboard

(target milestone is M11 or M12 - add to mail beta tracking bug) Need to remove for both html and plain text compose.

I have reworked some of the quoting back end to get rid of the temp files...part of this is to remove this tagline. I also checked in a change for 5.0 so you should se a User-Agent: header if a message was sent by 5.0. - rhp

Just and updated. This is complete, but I am waiting on Ender related bug fixes before I can check in the code. - rhp

Linux Redhat 6.0 (1999-11-01-09 M11) Win_nt 4.0 (1999-11-02-09 M11) Mac (1999-11-02-08 M11) I test this using HTML editor and text editor, "This message was sent using Messenger 5.0" tag no long attached at the end of the composer.
