When I'm using input method with preedit, the preedit is also counted in surrounding text, which is not under other gtk application or qt application. Actual results: Type fire with input method, and fire underline and indicates it's preedit. Currently surrounding text should be empty, not "fire" Expected results: Surrounding text should without preedit.

This should be fixed in Firefox 13 (bug 729774). Are you able to check that Firefox Beta behaves as expected? http://www.mozilla.org/firefox/beta/
