Web page or screen you were on when you saw the issue: sync settings
Steps to reproduce:
1. Try to setup sync
2. Enter codes in desktop "Pair a device" window.
3. Desktop reports success
4. Mobile says "could not connect to server" after obviously trying to sync.
What you expected: Sync to be setup correctly
More info:
Device: Samsung Nexus S
OS: Android 4.0.4
Also installed: Aurora & Nightly
(this happened in Beta 14)

You have more than one Firefox version installed: see Bug 729530 et al.
We don't currently support Sync in this situation.
(Haven't got the time right now to dupe this somewhere, sorry.)

Reopening this instead of filing another bug. I too have a device with both Firefox and Aurora installed, so I guess that's the reason why it fails.
However, the user experience is something we need a fix for, regardless of our policies for supporting multiple Firefox versions or not. Currently, what happens is that the Desktop client reports a success, while the Mobile device gives an error message that doesn't provide any clues to the user as to what's actually wrong.
At the very least, we should include a message hinting at the possible cause of the issue -- and even better if there is a way for us to confirm the cause and provide an even more exact error message and/or link to content on SUMO.

Last time I set up Aurora, I got a very clear message about failing to complete setup due to having multiple versions installed. Did you see that message?

according to Nick in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=772645#c13 you can have one Aurora or Nightly, not both (implied).

I haven't seen that, no. I only tried this in Firefox, so I guess that's why. But good to hear we've fixed that, since I can see this being a user confusion otherwise. :)
