This is closely related to Bug 756402 and Bug 582871. There may also be some similar Seamonkey bugs where this has been discussed about its Page Info feature (though I haven't found any yet). Bug fixes for some of these issues and other synchronous Page Info problems are being handled in Bug 737642 and Bug 715075. I am curious what more active Page Info developers think of how to fix this; from what I remember of these aspects of the code and the majority of Page Info being synchronous, this could require a major (but probably necessary) overhaul of Page Info.
