Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux i686; rv:12.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/12.0 Build ID: 20120423130206 Steps to reproduce: Forwarded a plain-text sent email. The selected email in the Sent mailbox had the "Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8; format=flowed" header. Actual results: The new mail that opens in the Compose window is HTML, and the entire content which was plain-text format=flowed has been wrapped into a single PRE formatted HTML. The style cannot be changed in the compose window, because changing it to "Body Text" or to "Paragraph" re-wraps everything into a single paragraph without any line break. Expected results: The plain text paragraphs should have been converted to HTML <P> paragraphs (or DIVs and BRs). Or the forwarded email should remain plain/text, keeping it's original format=flowed property. The only workaround seems to be: - Select all the text and cut it (Ctrl-X) - Change the style to Paragraph - Paste it back "without formatting" (Shift-Ctrl-V)
Known issue, unfortunately no progress in the original bug report.
