spun off from bug 63026 --ie, if i'm understanding doron's and daniel's comments properly... to quote: ------- Additional Comments From Daniel Brooks 2001-04-10 13:59 ------- I say disable it [page info menu item] for now, I'll prduce a patch that fixes both ends at some point. You may file a bug on me if you like. Basically I think what I'll do is change the page info window so that you pass in an object with various properties. I'll have to change everywhere it's opened from, but I suppose it'll be worth it.
Depends on: 63026
looks good to me

whoops, this was supposed to be the other way around. the other bug is checked in with the menu item disabled, then I fix it when I fix page info. db48x
Summary: disable Page Info menu item in View Source → enable Page Info menu item in View Source
Would this give info about the source or about the page generated by the source? I can't see either of those being useful...
Blocks: 79518
No, this would be the equivalent of choosing View Page Info from the same window you had choosen View Page Source from.

What if the window you did view-source from is now showing a different web page, or no longer exists?
Then the menu item would have to be disabled, of course.
