Since upgrading to version 13 on June 7, emails through our charter.net accounts will not process. Gmail account into Thunderbird is unaffected. I've tried changing the server settings, including the smtp setting, but nothing has helped.

I have tried to get the mail log, but cannot find/acquire it. Inasmuch as the gmail account that is being read through Thunderbird works fine, all outgoing mail is using the gmail smtp server. New messages in charter will simply have to be read online. And charter, as usual, only lets you read three or four messages before it comes back saying there is trouble retrieving the headers, or whatever the message in, and charter support always makes me turn the computer off and reset things to get it working again. I'm convinced the problem is with them, not with Thunderbird.

I was unable to find or read any log files. To get around the issue, my husband is now downloading the charter messages on another computer and reading and responding to messages there. As a matter of fact, no new messages are downloading for either charter account on the original computer.

Problem of mobile.charter.net was analyzed in bug 1325192. Closing this bug as dup of bug 1325192 for ease of tracking, becuase "Cannot receive mail from charter.net" part is involved in this bug. If duping is wrong, please close as INCOMPLETE again.
