Linux (2001-04-17-08 trunk) Win32 (2001-04-17-06 trunk) Mac (2001-04-17-04 trunk) Based on the spec, this remains an undecided issue. Jennifer, can you help answer this question? Thanks. http://www.mozilla.org/mailnews/specs/addressbook/

Yes, when a new Mailing list is added to an Address Book, it should appear as a child of the AB in alphabetical order. This applies to Both the Directory Pane/AB Pane and the Results Pane. For example, create the mailing list "Fred" associated with my Personal AB. "Fred" appears as a child of my PAB when the twistie is expanded. Create a second Mailing List, "Wilma". "Wilma" should appear as a child of my PAB BELOW "Fred". In addition, in the Results pane, both "Fred" and "Wilma" should appear as entries below the individual cards in alphabetical order.

This works for me on build id: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050318. Perhaps we fixed it at some stage?
This worksforme as well with build 2005-03-19-06 on Windows XP.
