If Account creation fails for whatever reason (including the case of multiple Firefox installs), we should display a specific error message, rather than displaying out default "server cannot be reached" error. Requires string addition.
Priority: -- → P2
Can we get steps to verify at least some of this?
Adding ibarlow to the CC list, since this adds strings and changes our UI. More details on what this changes soon.
Possible STR for account failure - cause a SecurityException. 1. Install Firefox beta. 2. Install test Firefox. Set up sync. Setup should fail on device (with SecurityException in logs). 3. Verify that error message displayed should mention Account setup failing, not the default "Sync could not connect to server" message.
Screenshot of new account failure screen, if reached after Account creation fails (with the new strings).
