Details
Currently, the most up to date release version of Firefox is 13.0.1 however http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/fx/#desktop link says I am up-to-date even though I am running Firefox 13.0 . See screenshot

The code only checks for the first level.
https://github.com/mozilla/bedrock/blob/master/apps/firefox/templates/firefox/fx.html#L125
In the future, we might also not be able to access the full version. See bug 728831.
