Some PNG files containing alpha transparency information are rendered
incorrectly. Instead of the page background showing through in the transparent
areas, a random background color shows in these areas. However, only certain PNG
files exhibit this behaviour: I have others which are rendered correctly. A test
HTML page is attached.
This is a new problem - it started happening during the past few weeks - that
is, some time during March or April 2001. The problem is not evident in Netscape
6, as the attached screenshot shows.
I am using build 2001042208, on Windows 2000.
