In bug 776973 we're adding a flag to apps that require flash in order to be used. Do we want to expose this on the detail pages to notify users? If so, how? If not, please wontfix this. Note that in bug 776975 we're not showing flash apps to users on b2g but if they go directly to the detail page we do. We should probably have a message on the detail page and disable the install button.

I almost filed a dupe for this. A lot of games in our Marketplace production site are Flash-only and users can't currently exclude those from browse/search :(

A lot of games in our Marketplace production > site are Flash-only and users can't currently exclude those from > browse/search :( A few questions: 1. Why are we allowing users to see detail pages of apps they can't download on B2G? 2. On what platforms will flash apps be available and what is the use case where we need to warn/inform users about flash content?

So what are the next steps here? Maria?
(In reply to Chris Van Wiemeersch [:cvan] from comment #4) > So what are the next steps here? Maria? So, the only time we have to deal with this is if a user goes directly to a details page on B2G. For that case: 1. Disable the install button. 2. Display a "This app has Flash content and is not available for your device" type message. ccing Stephen Horlander for help on what that visual should look like.

I take it back. After thinking more about this it seems that this case isn't (at least now) common enough that we need to display a warning. As long as we aren't showing flash results in searches/category lookups on platforms that don't support it I'm fine with it. I'm wontfixing.
