This is in the alt 3 pane view repro: .open mail .click on a account heading in the folder pane .click on the last folder/newsgroup in the list expected: message view and message list reappear, and folder pane scrolls to the newsgroup you selected actual: message view and message list reappear, and folder pane stays at the top of it's list, hiding the group you've selected
