Using apr30 commercial trunk build on win98, linux rh6.2 and mac OS 9.0 related bug 74567 Deleting a message from the search messages results pane will cause Undo to stop working for subsequent deletions in the 3-pane/mail window when following these steps: 1. Open mail window, login to mail account, select Inbox or other folder. 2. Go to search messages, initiate a search which will yield matches. 3. From the search results, delete a message. (current bug about delete enabling, may have to search twice to enable delete) 4. Close search dialog, check Edit|Undo in the mail window, note it is disabled. 5. In the 3-pane/mail window, delete a message. 6. Try to Undo deletion -- cannot, Undo Delete is disabled. Repeat mail window delete message and try to Undo. Undo will never enable after subsequent deletes. Note: If you delete a message in the main mail window before ever deleting from search results, Undo doesn't appear to be interfered with (undo is pretty unstable as it is). Result: Delete from search results interferes with further mail session Undo Deletes from mail window. Expected: No interference.

In general, there are lot of small undo/redo bugs; It would be good if we log some bugs to track them.

There are plenty of existing Undo bugs. I'm not willing to log a bunch of new Undo bugs unless we're going to get serious about fixing them... they'll just morph again like the last ones we logged which weren't attended to. Anyway, this is fixed. Marking verified with may08 commercial trunk build: mac OS 9.0 and win98.

laurel: is there a bug that at least covers the general undo broken-ness? we can use that as a dumping ground. as we get undo bug cases, we can mark them dependent on the general bug.
