The devhub's developer subsite has a "Publish it" section. It needs to integrate with the Marketplace submission process. At the very least, we need a link to the submission process. -> Edna, any suggestions on where we should put that in the preliminary design? It might make sense to put it in the nav on every page? For extra credit, we'd actually explain what marketplace submission means and what it gets you, before we send people there. If we want such a page, this needs an owner. Wil, any preference?

Whatever is best for the user. It sounds like the explanation would be a documentation page, and I'd rather keep that all in the same place (the devhub, I suppose)
We can put the 'publish it' along with the other 3 links on the footer of all related sub pages.
The deadline for this content is: Monday August 20, end of day. Let me know if you have any questions.

*Pointing* to the submission process is a P1. Cvan, how's your submission wizard coming along? Shall we make that the target of this section? CCing Havi to see if we can find someone to help write a bit of docs for this?

RE: Docs I think that (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Apps/Submitting_an_app)is sufficient for outlining the submission process. Would it be possible to have Mark Giffin add a 'requirements' or 'need to know' section that links off to the manifest (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Apps/Manifest?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Apps%2FThe_Manifest) and hosting (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Apps/Tutorials/General/Publishing_the_app) pages on the MDN?

Thanks, I agree that this is a good page. It needs some brushing up in terms of payments but otherwise explains things fairly well. > Would it be possible to > have Mark Giffin add a 'requirements' or 'need to know' section that links > off to the manifest > (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Apps/Manifest?redirectlocale=en- > US&redirectslug=Apps%2FThe_Manifest) and hosting > (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Apps/Tutorials/General/ > Publishing_the_app) pages on the MDN? That, or we point to the devhub content about manifest (bug 782383) and hosting (bug 782497, if this lands in this iteration).
Please assign this to Jen when you think this is ready to be included. Thanks!
I added a "What you need" section to this MDN page: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Apps/Submitting_an_app It links to docs for manifest and app hosting. Ready to go, assigning to Jen.
