STR: 1. navigate maps.google.com 2. click the dot above the street view man to prompt the geolocation popup notification 3. click the popup notification icon in the url bar to dismiss it expected results: the popup closes actual results: the popup closes and then reappears Doesn't look like Linux or OS X are affected.
Kind of the opposite of bug 596723 (fixing that bug consistently would make it hard to fix this one). The click event consuming logic is platform-specific and sometimes non-deterministic even on a single platform (e.g. on Mac in bug 600406), which explains why you might not see this consistently (or across all platforms).
