Details
After having install mozilla-0.8.1-3 on redhat 7.0 with rpm from mozilla web site, mozilla run only on root account and make a Segmentation fault after Registering plugin 1 for: "application/futuresplash","FutureSplash Player","spl" Registering plugin 0 for: "*","All types",".*" messages.
Everithing seems to be ok with root account !!

Uhh...works here.
prehaps you should ./run-mozilla.sh ./regxpcom && ./run-mozilla.sh ./regchrome
?
where do the plugins live?

Well,i've delete the .mozilla directory in my home directory and i've copy the /usr/bin/mozilla file in a ~/mozilla/ directory with write permission for all the world.. and it s run !! (Mozilla ask to create a new profile or to import one from netscape profile)

Looks like the reporter fixed his problem with a known workaround. I agree with
Daniel, duplicate of bug 24184, marking as such.
