Click "Drivers and Software"
Try to enter something in "Enter a product name/number"
The field closes immediately making it unusable.
This is a regression in Nightly (at least Firefox 15 works, and IIRC 16 and 17 do as well).

Gian-Carlo, do you have time to find a regression range?

Benjamin, have you been contacting the affected sites? Just assigning them to evang does nothing on its own, since we have no dedicated evang team...
Comment 7•12 years ago
Oh, I see. I should probably do that, then.
Comment 8•12 years ago
I don't suppose anyone has a magical contact address for HP website issues...
Comment 9•12 years ago
If there's nothing on their site, maybe see if press at mozilla.com has any contacts there? Or escalate to your manager (dmandelin, right?) to find someone who has contacts with them?

From HP:
"We have received an update from our development team, they state that
current beta version for Firefox is FF 16, while FF 17 is alpha version,
still under testing, therefore not supported yet by our machines. They
will be able to test page under FF17 when FF 16 is released as official
version, at the beginning of October. In the meantime, they have
informed to HTML team about possible issues with mootools and this
upcoming FF version."

Now that Firefox 18 has been released, maybe someone can try to contact them again? Looks like it's still broken.
Comment 13•12 years ago
Is it broken in 18 itself? I thought we still disabled the harmony string stuff on release?
Comment 14•12 years ago
I tested it and it's broken for me. From Bug 788483 it looks like the harmony string stuff was only disabled in FF 17.
Comment 15•12 years ago
Yes, it is still broken on Fx18 and SM 2.15.

I've contacted HP again on this (via https://h41268.www4.hp.com/live/index.aspx?qid=17656), so far I've received feedback (from a human) that they're currently working on this.
