Details

1) Load video in attachment 663244 [details] 2) Let it play to the end (it's just a few seconds) 3) Observe that the play button correctly changes from "pause" to "play" at the end 4) Click that button Expected: The video should start playback from the beginning Actual: Sometimes the icon changes, but nothing else happens. Dragging the scrubber back doesn't seem to work either.
Hmm, actually I think this is a Core bug, because the controls work as expected on https://people.mozilla.com/~dolske/tmp/rickroll.ogg I'll make a wild guess that this is broken for the video in attachment 663244 [details] because it's on Bugzilla, and so byte-range requests don't work. (As one would expect, the length of the video is unknown until playback finishes.)
Component: Video/Audio Controls → Video/Audio
Product: Toolkit → Core
Yeah, we should probably look at adding a special case for this.
Summary: Can't replay video after it finishes → Can't replay video after it finishes when seeking is disabled
Works for me.
Sorry for bug spam. Works on Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; from https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/41a54c8add09 and Android from same revision on Nexus 5. Just tested on 29.0.1 Linux and works there, too.
Component: Audio/Video → Audio/Video: Playback
