Currently when message headers are downloaded from an IMAP server you get
information on title / sender / size etc but the icon doesn't change to indicate
whether there is an attachment or not. The icon only changes when you select the
message (and download it).
Would like the icon to change to indicate if there is an attachment when the
headers are downloaded rather than waiting until the whole message has been
downloaded.

I don't think we know we have attachments when we get the header.

I don't think we know if a message has attachments before we download it.
bienvenu, is that correct? if so, this is invalid.

yes, that's basically correct - we sometimes could know, but if we can't always
know, it's better not to put up the attachment icon unless we know for sure.

How about putting up an icon when we do know, and putting up a paperclip with a
questionmark superimposed onto it if we're not sure.
This would onmly work if there were many cases where we knew that the is NO
attachment. Is that the case?
If it is, we should do it (and reopen this bug).
