We currently have the XUL Fennec error console partially working; the code is at:
https://hg.mozilla.org/projects/elm/file/default/browser/metro/base/content/console.js

You can enable the console by turning on devtools.errorconsole.enabled in about:config, and you can access it through an app bar button.  Remaining work needed includes:

- Make the output list scrollable
- Style/theme the controls
- Figure out where and how we want to expose this in the UI

This isn't something we need to expose for users in Metro Firefox. How much benefit is it to the Firefox development and testing effort to have this working more or better than it does today?

This is mainly a tool for us Firefox developers -- we need it while debugging problems or developing new code.  However, it's basically working already, so I don't think we need this tracking bug.  We can file more specific bugs for things we want to patch.
