Bookmark/Add Bookmark - locks up/freezes(writing/re-writing of bookmark file), continues to generate new/duplicate bookmark entries, ctl-alt-del, end task, bookmarks file 31.5 MEG'S! Took seconds.. shudder..

Reporter, what URL were you trying to add? And do you have a copy of your bookmarks file from before? I suspect the Mozilla people will be asking for those, since not just any bookmark will trigger this bug.

Yes, I have the bookmarks from before and after, the url was http://www.audiofind.com/ I had just deleted 2 bookmarks and went to audiofind to add it... Original bookmark is 551kb, after, 32336kb.. It probably would have continued to write until it ran out of disk space.. After 'end tasking' Moz froze on restart, I checked the files, found the 'expanded' bookmarks.. replaced with my backup, started ok.
