Firefox 16 takes a long time to exit. It was never too fast, given that I have a lot of tabs open (6MB sessionstore.js) but since updating from firefox 15 it is much slower.
From choosing the quit menu option to the process actually being closed, I see a wait time of 6-7 minutes. This is measured from opening the process (loading the existing session) and just choosing quit. Reverting to Firefox 15, it is about 1 minute.

**************
Firefox 16
firefox took 414 seconds to exit
firefox took 389 seconds to exit
firefox took 472 seconds to exit
firefox took 449 seconds to exit

**************

Firefox 15
firefox took 92 seconds to exit
firefox took 73 seconds to exit
firefox took 46 seconds to exit
firefox took 57 seconds to exit

Memory usage is also smaller (~100MB) in Firefox 15 (VmRSS 2101292 kB in FF15 vs 2215588 kB FF16).

Additionally I hitted what looks like a deadlock in some of these tests, for both versions. I skipped those from the above counts, since I had to manually signal them to exit.
