Sriram says the user can click outside of the dialog to dismiss it, but I think that is not discoverable and the dialog is a little scary.
Agreed. Also when I first saw the dialog I thought it was cut off because usually the doorhanger dialogs have more than one button.
It follows the same convention as installing an addon from non-AMO site (like: http://people.mozilla.com/~mfinkle/fennec/addons/ ). Closing the bug, as this is the desired behavior.

Additional note: Just like add-ons, we expect to skip this doorhanger when installing a persona from AMO (or getpersonas). In fact, we should make sure a bug is filed for that.
