Import contacts from sim. Twice. Get duplicated contacts. Should at least have some per-contact validation. Most of the time a same-name-and-same-number will be the same, so should err on the side of not being annoying.
This is a problem. However my understanding was that for V1 upon import we would duplicate the contact as it was not possible to carry out per-contact validation at this point. Is that so Daniel?

Yes, this a limitation we were aware of, was agreed to live with it by the product team and devs a long time ago.

Hi, This has been also detected during certification in Spain with ikura. However, it's a nice-to-have, not mandatory. Adding dep to meta bugs. Thanks! David

Inari Build: 20130426070207 Gecko http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-b2g18_v1_0_1/rev/54285d67454b Gaia c47ef39de04e634d847cc86b6acc616fabce69eb Kernel: Feb 21st I'm unable to test this in the Ikura device due to not having access to it. However In the build above for the Inari device, I'm able to duplicate the contacts as many times as I want.

This is working fine on unagi master 08/14 build: Gecko-3364547 Gaia-cecd0d7 ref ril When importing from the same SIM twice, contacts are not duplicated.
