1. Right-click, Inspect Element 2. Double-click the empty space at the end of an open tag 3. Type: m=3 4. Press enter Result: it just disappears My first thought was "oh, maybe the empty space isn't for adding new attributes". Then I went back and tried with quotes, and it worked.
Also, this appears on the console, which scares me: Timestamp: 11/21/12 1:00:18 PM Error: not well-formed Source Code: <div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><div m=3/></
