In the settings app > sound, set all your volume sliders to max. Then go to the music app and play a song. Go back to the settings > sound, and tap the volume rocker up. The sound will completely stop. See screencast: http://youtu.be/uEjJTE6m3Ug REpro: 1) install 11-27-2012 daily unagi build ** build 20121127071547 2) open settings app > sound, and max out the volume sliders 3) launch music app, and play a song. hear the song 4) go back to settings > sound, and hit the volume rocker 5) Verify the volume just cuts out. 6) if you tap the sound sliders again, the music will come back. Expected: - volume rockers should not kill sound Actual: - sound dies

This will be resolved by bug 814326's gaia patch.

Alive (or anyone else), do you know which fix caused this regression? Or was this a combination where bug 814326 should have landed at the same time as another fix to avoid regression?

This one can be closed now but cannot be verified until 810780 lands.

Verified fixed on Unagi build 20130103070201. The volume rocker did not mute the music, it just lowered the volume as expected.
