See summary title [01:58] - ibarlow: AaronMT yes. Though we shouldn't be going to about:home by default in PB, we should be going to about:privatebrowsing -- Nightly (12/10) Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Android 4.1.2)
Version: unspecified → Trunk
The statement from ibarlow does not quite make sense. A shortcut to a page on the home screen should open that page not about:privatebrowsing.
Also should this happen, I think dragged off URL bar shortcuts don't do this on desktop as they open the browser as a regular tab.
I vote to WONTFIX this bug. Any reason not to?
Adding a shortcut is tantamount to bookmarking, and we allow that during PB.
"Add to Home Screen" is a form of bookmarking. No PB issues.
