From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.7 [en] (X11; I; SunOS 5.8 sun4u)
BuildID: 2001050515
This site uses transparent background images in some divs. However Mozilla
often displays the transparent sections as black.
The site validates as XHTML 1.0 Strict and CSS2.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
If the problem doesn't occur immediatley try minimizing and restoring or
scrolling the images off the screen, or hiding the window behind another and the
showing it again.
Actual Results: Transparent sections appeared black
Expected Results: Transparent sections should be transparent
I've only had this problem when running Windows 98 on a sun-pci card.
I haven't however been able to test it on any other system.

Is this a duplicate of the "Animated transparent gifs have black backgrounds"
bug?
Whiteboard: DUPEME
The images involved here are not transparent, they are used as the backgrounds
to block elements.
Bug 78733 sounds the same but is about background images in tables, I guess
however that the cuase is probably the same.
