Actual Results: 1-5 Download dialog boxes appear saying: You have chosen to download a file of type: "GIF Image" [image/gif] from http://ad.doubleclick.net/adi/buy.soft.sm/ Expected Results: GIF images should be displayed in the browser.

confirming with win2k build 20010525.. (CVS opt ~05:30PM with darin´s fix for bug 81008) I loaded that page (link) and it works fine. I closed mozilla and started it again (without HOME PAGE) and tried it again. I got ~5 helper dialogs

Kevin, This should be fixed in 0.9.1 and later. Can you verify, since we didn't do full analysis before marking the dupe?

I can verify. I no longer experience this problem on my current build (2001061804).
