Actual results: The URL got requested via the proxy. Expected results: As in former Firefox versions there should show up a hint that I am working in offline mode and there should therefore be no network activity. I bisected the issue down to rev107434 which is responsible for this bug.

Georg, is your proxy on localhost? If so - that would be allowed.

On 127.0.0.1. Mmm... I start to read 87717 more closely and after half a day of bisecting it seems that is a feature now, ugh. But that is quite counter-intuitive for our users (and probably others as well) which have a local proxy running through which they access the Internet. But yeah, if that is a feature now, sorry for the noise.
