Actual results: mozilla (Aurora 20.0a2) Hangs and has to be terminated. Will not 'wake up', i've waited many minutes. I can reproduce this Every time I click 'tab bar' Aurora 'button' > Downloads Also, I have browser.download.useToolkitUI set to false in about:config. Expected results: Download Manager should open NOT the library! the 'Library' is a Management UI, Not a small, simple 'monitoring' utility.

browser.download.useToolkitUI set to false seemed 'wrong' .. I looked and it is , was set to false when I have been setting it to 'true'. this must have been changed by todays 'update'. I changed browser.download.useToolkitUI to 'true' and at least the 'Library' issue is addressed, and FF Aurora is Not hanging. Landis.

The nightly build of Aurora that hanged was the same that you posted this bug with (20130111) or did you update from then? Since any build before 20130111 was likely to hang, while that build and today's build should not. useToolkitUI is expected to be false.

the hanging during open 'download' library is / was 'today's' (11.01.13) build. this is independent of previous build hang with addon (20130111)... Landis.

today's build, 2013.01.12 does Not lockup aurora, but there is still a very long hang (pause) while the library loads and sets itself to actively show file download status. I think this is due to the library manager having to load All Navigation History and Bookmarks at open / load and not just the download activity / history portion... Slight oversight in this plan, I think Landis.

That's not expected, may you please try in Safe Mode, so we can exclude add-ons? How long is the pause, seconds? What's the spec of your computer?

I'm sorry, but that hdd died and i have not been using Aurora on my new install of openSuSE 12.3 / KDE 4.10.2.... I am using Nightly and except for it being slow, I have no plans to run Aurora right now. Again, Sorry I can not help. Landis.
