Do we have a bug to automate this? (no need for manual mirroring) Not sure if this is something that can be done on the build side or not (I don't know much of the process).

We can't do this completely automatically. But, another approach we could use to avoid this is to mirror https://github.com/mozilla/gaia-ui-tests to hg; we could then access the hg repo from the mozharness job and we wouldn't need to involve the gaia repo. (Another approach is to merge gaia-ui-tests into gaia, but the WebQA guys don't want to do that right now.) I can file a bug for the gaia-ui-tests hg mirror.
