RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 502908

People

(Reporter: illumilore, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:18.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/18.0
Build ID: 20130107224407

Steps to reproduce:

When you close a window with alt-f4, the default behaviour of firefox is to open up a confirmation dialogue before closing the window, however when hitting ctr-q, there is no confirmation dialogue, firefox simply quits. Given how close ctrl-w and ctrl-q are on the keyboard, there should also be an option for a dialogue when closing a window by quitting.

Actual results:

na

Expected results:

na

This isn't about the shortcut key that is being used to close firefox, this is about the lack of the dialogue.
