Details
There are potential security issues with not showing URL all the time. I assume there has been discussion about the security implications of showing title instead of URL in the toolbar at some point. Just filing this bug to get some discussion going.

This was discussed quite a bit in bug 824903, and before that in bug 605206

It seems we're the only mobile browser on Android showing titles instead of URLs? I've tried stock browser, Chrome, and Dolphin. Ian, I assume you want to keep titles instead of URLs?

Yes, that would be my preference. The title of a page is something that's much easier to parse than a URL, to an average user.
It also strikes me that with safe browsing implemented in Firefox for Android, it dramatically lessens our chances of users being faced with a spoofed page, thereby further lessening the need to display a URL here. Is that correct?
