This feature already exists in mozilla-central, but needs to be rewritten for the refactoring. It shouldn't be big, because now that we reuse the Compositable code which already can send RGB textures, so it's just a bit of glue to handle getting a SharedRGBImage in input.
Re-implemented in the gfx branch
