1) open options and turn on master password
2) hit cancel on the dialog

dialog stays open. You have to close the app to get out of this.
Possibly a duplicate of bug 840855, though I think the different cases described there might have different underlying bugs. Keeping this bug sepaarate for now.
Depends on: 840855
Summary: Hitting cancel on master password dialog doesn't close the dialog → Hitting cancel or OK on master password dialog doesn't close the dialog
This obviously has to be fixed. Needs to be triaged into the appropriate tracker.
Whiteboard: DUPEME
Master Password is not in our user stories for v1 (it's just already implemented from XUL Fennec), so we could also just disable the feature temporarily.
Whiteboard: p=1
Master password isn't on any Metro version roadmap and probably won't be. Please remove it. It's cruft left over from Fennec.
From my understanding, master password is the only way for users to secure password data. Are we sure we want to do away with it? FWIW, aside from the dialog problem I think it's fully implemented.

Most modern operating systems provide secure storage with much better UX as well as much better security.

It's arguable whether there's any value in MP over Bitlocker and whatever app isolation Win 8 brings…
