User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0 Build ID: 20130409194949 Steps to reproduce: 1) Start downloading a file of enough size. 2) Close all the browsing windows. Actual results: The download gets suspended. Expected results: When there's a pending file download, if I close the last browsing window, Firefox should open the Library window (download section) to keep the download alive. Internet Explorer uses the same approach.
